Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to Lembitu, ancient Estonian elder of Sakala County and military leader in the struggle against conquest of the Estonian lands by the German Livonian Brothers of the Sword at the beginning of the 13th century. He is the only Estonian pre-Crusade ruler, about whom some biographical information is known (he is mentioned only in the Chronicle of Henry of Livonia). Lembitu attempted to unite the Estonians in order to withstand the German conquest. He managed to assemble an army of 6,000 Estonian men from different counties, but was killed in the following Battle of St. Matthew's Day (]visit link)

To find this cache you´ll have to move around and search following information:

A – number of classed windows in right side of church, if you looking the frontal door( tower is a part church too);
B – number of little gates next to the cemetary plan;
C – number of drop-shaped windows of the round window of the church;
D – last digit of the hero´s death year in the memorial;
E – number of cold weapons in the statue of the memorial;
F – number of great artist´s burial place in cemetary plan - 1

Et Lembitu kohta leiduv info on küllaltki napp, siis ei ole tema elu ja tegevust keegi teaduslikul tasemel eriti põhjalikult uurinud. Rohkem on tehtud oletusi, teda on peetud päritava võimuga valitsejaks ja kogu Muinas-Eesti välispoliitika suunajaks. Sellisele arvamusele leiab kinnitust Hendriku kroonikas leiduv tekst mis ütleb, et vanem Lembitu juhitud eestlaste maleva kogunemise ajal saadeti venelaste juurde saadikud. Lembitu nime mainitakse ka sakslaste-eestlaste vaheliste lepingute juures. Põhjendatud vastuargumendid Lembitu kui Muinas-Eesti välispoliitilise suunaja kohta puuduvad, on vaid oletused.
