The Long Mountain (Hosszú-hegy) forms the northern boundary of the Pilis-basin, which is bordered on the west by the massive Pilis mountain.

The Long Mountain (Hosszú-hegy) forms the northern boundary of the Pilis-basin, which is bordered on the west by the massive Pilis mountain. (On this you will find the geocache called Girls in the Bush.) The largest settlement in the basin is Pilisvörösvár, whish has recently become a town and which, having a strong German-speaking majority, also uses the name Werischvar. This small town can be very well seen from the edge of Hosszú-hegy, where we have placed our geocache. It can be a pleasant Sunday excursion to seek out the geocaches Fort of Eger (Egri vár), Saint Well of Csobánka (Csobánkai szentkút), Long Mountain (Hosszú Hegy) and the Girls in the Bush (Lányok a bozótban). To make this excursion take a bus from Árpád híd (Árpád bridge) to Pilisborosjenõ and to get back take a bus from Pilisszántó to Budapest.
By car follow from the Csobánka col (Csobánkai nyereg) the gravel road along the blue tourist sign to the barrier at N 47° 38.955 E 18° 56.565. (Can be opened!)
The brutal solution according to aerial photos, from the weekend area of Pilisszántó in a beeline. No rock-climbing necessary, but the difficulty is at least 4.
For some time the mountain also gave home to the first mobile geocache, but unfortunately this one has already moved on.
