This area is known to locals as the Nike Missile site. Built by the federal gov't during the Cold War era when fear of an attack by enemies. The silos were dug in the early 60s, for the storage of missiles but that never occurred. These holes are now filled with water and fish can be seen jumping there. The road built from route 114 to the site, has withstood the test of time and is still one of the better roads bordering Middleton and North Andover.

The fun original container was totally destroyed by fire in the Fall of 2024. We replaced with a more generic CC until we find something better, and we added to the cache name to reflect the fire's damage to the area.
