Geocache Description:

Isaszeg-er battle memorial. Alt: 226 m

Year 1848, revolution and war of independence in Hungary. Some generals, as Klapka, Aulich, Damjanich and Gorgey win a battle on 6 april 1849 at this point. Those days have a memorial on the nearby hill. Sightseeing on the Blue-sign the patriotics tombs and the "Oregtemplom" old church from the XII.th century. At this closest point is the cache place.
