The cache is located in the Mount Tom State Reservation. It's a great park with lots of trails, beautiful views, a cool new playground, a visitor's center, and plenty of geocaches.
Parking is near the visitor's center. Ground zero is a short walk from the trailhead and just a dozen feet or so from the paved road that is closed to vehicles. There is a small entrance fee during the season. During the off-season, the park closes at 4 pm
