Updated 1/2/23: Based on the trail reports, this one is getting increasingly difficult,. In the interest of "know what you are getting into, I've decided to change the Name to: Hard To Get To Ten: Tree Walk and add it to the HTGT series . This is a simple, though not easy, two stage cache which will take you over a couple of very well marked but poorly un-maintained trails in a small conservation area in Carver, Ma. Park at the Trailhead Kiosk or on the street nearby to the northeast. Follow the trail arrows to stage one at N41 50.468 W70 45.646 where you'll find the coords to the final. If you go in a little further on, you'll come to the trail's end and a memorial bench. Heading back to your car will take you over the remainder of the trail system.

As Hipointer noted in 2014, and the 3.5 for terrain indicated, the trail system is more like a guided bushwhack than a walk in the park , and it hasn't gotten easier over the following 11 years, so I've upped the terrain rating to four, mostly for the thickets of thorns...Don't wear shorts or sandals or expensive clothing...C'mon, you know you'll love it ;-) Update 4/2/25 Carefull reading of the cache page, gallery and mainenance logs will reveal the "easy way" to get to the final. On the other hand, I "followed the arrow" and suffered no blood loss today ;-)
