Cache is located at Holly Hut near the Ahukawakawa swamp in the Egmont National Park.
Holly hut sleeps 32 people and has solar powered lights
Holly hut is a good day tramp for the average person from either:
- North Egmont Visitor Centre - 4hrs (one way)
- Mangorei Road end - 4hrs (one way)
- Puniho Road end - 4-5hrs (one way)
Remember to come prepared as the mounatin weather can change very quickly!
Letterbox Hybrid geocaches are the same as Traditional caches except they have two logbooks instead of one. The 1st logbook is for the usual signing and dating. The 2nd log book is for stamping with your own personal stamp. The stamp provided in the cache is for you to stamp your own personal log book if you have own.
If you have your own stamp, stamp the Stamp Book as well as signing the Log Book.
If you don't have a stamp then just sign the Log Book.
If you have a personal Logbook you can stamp it with the stamp provided.
