Cache is located at Tahurangi Lodge.
Tahurangi Lodge is roughly a 1 1/2hr from North Egmont Visitor Centre via the 4WD Translator road

The lodge was built in 1968 and replaced the previous Tahurangi Hut which which was snuggled in the northern moss slopes, a short distance from todays lodge.
Tahurangi is well-positioned to allow club members to take advantage of summit routes and rock climbing crags on the mountain.
