Geocache Description:

Borrby (1977–1997 Borbi) on küla Vormsi vallas Lääne maakonnas.

Borrby oli enne rannarootslaste lahkumist Vormsi kõige suurem küla. 1944. aastal lahkus Borrby küla 335-st elanikust 328 Rootsi. Tänapäeval ei ela külas ühtegi inimest, kes oleks sõjaeelsete elanike järglane või identiteedi otsene kandja. Ka suurem osa küla endisest hoonestusest (sh 14 tuulikut) on hävinud.

Borrbyholm asub külast loodes. Aarde leiad vana piirivalveehitise küljest. Maskeering palun taastada täpselt samamoodi!
