Geocache Description:

.

There is a pearl of Ida-Viru county located on this bird-named-hill. The zero point is chosen by the path which leads to the monastery holy spring (which is one of the cleanest water source in the country). The spring is described in the book of Kristel Vilbaste - "Eesti allikad"/"Estonian springs", p.100.

It is advisable to look for the cache in daylight, because then the gates of the monastery are opened and entrance granted. The monastery has had a colorful history. For example, during World War II it was the German concentration camp; during the War of Independence typhoid hospital. Currently the monastery houses over 150 nuns and novices.

Cars can be parked to the coordinates N 59 ° 12.080 ', E 27 ° 32.141'.

The cache is hidden as nineteenth cache of 2014. advent calendar.

Selle linnunimelise künka otsas asub üks Ida-Virumaa pärlitest. Nullpunkt on valitud tee äärde, mis viib kloostrist püha allikani(mis on üks kõige puhtaima veega allikas Eestis). Allikast on lähemalt kirjutatud Kristel Vilbaste raamatus Eesti allikad, lk.100. Aaret on soovitav otsida valgel ajal, kuna siis on ka kloostriväravad avatud ja sissepääs vaba. Kloostri ajalugu on olnud kirju. Nii näiteks asus II maailmasõja ajal siin sakslaste koonduslaager, Vabadussõja ajal oli kloostri hoonetes tüüfusehaigla. Praegu elab kloostris üle pooleteistsaja nunna ja noviitsi.

Auto võiks parkida koordinaatidele N 59° 12,080’ ja E 27° 32,141’.

Aare on peidetud 2014.a. advendikalendri üheksateistkümnenda aardena
