Tartu kirikute aardesari kutsub teid külastama erinevaid Tartu kirikuid. Mõned neist saavad just praegu katusele uhket vaskplekki. Mõned on just ilmalikust kasutusest vabanenud. Mõned peidavad end väikestes majades keset elurajoone, teised on uhkete tänapäevaste ehitustega pilku püüdmas.

Nullpunktis Toomemäel paikneb Toomkirik: Selle ehitamist alustati 13. sajandi lõpus ja ehitus jätkus 16. sajandi lõpuni; Valminuna oli ta Ida-Euroopa suurim kirikuhoone ja telliskiviehitis. Reformatsiooni käigus kirik rüüstati, jäi tühjaks ja hakkas lagunema. 1802. a. kui taasrajati Tartu Ülikool, rajati kiriku kooriossa raamatukogu, korrastati ka ülejäänud kirikut. Pärast raamatukogu kolimist uude majja hakkas hoones tööle Ülikooli ajaloomuuseum

Vallikraavi tänava ääres paikneb metodistide Tartu Püha Luuka koguduse kirik: Valmis kirik 2002. aastal. Kirik järgib stiililt juba enne sõda kavandatud ( kuid sõja ja okupatsiooni tõttu ehitamata jäänud) kirikuhoone funktsionalistlikku stiili.

Veski tänava ääres paikneb Tartu Kolgata kirik (aastani 2013 Tartu Uusapostlik kirik). Kiriku ehitas Eesti Uusapostlik kirik aastatel 1994-95. Liikmeskonna vähenemisel pandi kirik müüki ja 2013. aastal sai kiriku omanikuks seni Karlovas kirikut pidanud Tartu Kolgata baptistikogudus.

Series "Tartu Churches" invites you to visit a variety of churches in Tartu. Some have got a new shining copper roof Some are just released from secular use. Some are hiding in small houses in the middle of residential areas, while others have fancy modern construction.
There are ruins of Dome Church on coordinates. Its construction works began at the end of the 13th century, and construction continued at the end of the 16th century. When completed, it was the largest church building and brick building in Eastern Europe. During the Reformation the church was looted, remained empty and began to crumble. In 1802 a. re-founded University of Tartu, founded a library in church choir section, and repaired the rest of the church. After moving library to a new house, it accomodated the University Museum of History

On Vallikraavi (Moat) Street there is Tartu St. Luke's Parish Church. It was completed in 2002. The church follows the style already planned before the 2WW (but remained unfinished due to the war and occupation), the functionalist style of the church building remains the same.

On Veski (Mill) Street there is Kolgata/Calvary Church of Tartu (until 2013 New Apostolic Church). The New Apostolic Church (of Ireland Church) was built between 1994-95. Church membership went to decline and they sold put church to sale in 2013. New owner is Tartu Calvary Baptist Church. </ P>
