During summers, children’s camps and summer camps of Young Pioneers were organised here for the children of the workers of the exemplar Soviet collective fisherman farm called Kirov.
The main buiding of the camp was an old villa built after the I World War, the same building was used as Lohusalu school building and for a long time it was a local village centre. Accommodation for children was organised in cabins around the main building. Some of the cabins can still be seen under high pine trees. Children could do sports at the nearby playing field where there were various attractions and facilities for playing different ball games.
The point zero is locate between the summer camp site and the playing field, when moving upwards you reach the camp site, when moving downwards you reach the playing field.

Laste majutus toimus peamaja ümbruses olevates kämpingutes, mõned sellised kämpingud on seal mändide all veel alles.
