Geocache Description:

[ENG]

In the middle of the sea there was a small island. The island was surrounded by sharp rocks and secret underwater reefs. Water foamed and roared between them. The island was covered with crooked and forked pine trees. Under the pines grew bilberries, clearings were covered with rosehip bushes with their sharp thorns. Sea birds made their nests between the rocks on the beach. In addition to birds, there was only one more inhabitant on the island – Old Mother Kunks.

Old Mother Kunks was a tall bony old woman, whose hair was always messy and untidy like a magpie´s nest. Old Mother Kunks had lived here all of her life. She ate rosehip and bilberries and sometimes when she was in a right mood she went fishing. Sometimes, in the autumn, Old Mother Kunks also tasted some prettier mushrooms which stood out from the forest.

A pine tree with tough roots and extra-long and crooked branches grew in the middle of the island. Old Mother Kunks´s house was attached between the branches of this pine. In order for the wind not to wipe the house to the sea, big stones were attached to three corners of the house. At the fourth corner, there was an enormous old anchor with strange decorations. Despite all that, at times, tremendous autumn storms still lifted the house high up into the air but the stones and the anchor kept it still so that after storms it fell back to its place.

Eaves of the roof were always full of bunches of herbal remedies, mushrooms, funguses and moss, which had been put there for drying. So the house looked like a big messy bird nest in the arms of the pine tree.

It is known that Old Mother Kunks lives somewhere near us, it is not known where exactly but the task is to find her house. As Old Mother Kunks wants privacy, she has made her house invisible and you cannot see it with a naked eye. Luckily, the landscape and the rock, close to where the tree house is located, is visible. The cache is in the forest, right behind Old Mother Kunks´s house.

Aarde leiad Kunksmoori maja tagant metsast.
