[ENG] In the summer of 2013, a memorial was unveiled in Viljandi (sculptor Bruno Kadak), which marks the venue of the first Viljandi County Song Festival and the founding place of the Farmers' Association and the Koidu Society.
This is a copy of the bronze sculpture "Leelotaja" by the sculptor Lydia Laas from Viljandi County, completed in 1957. The model of the work is considered to be actress Laine Mesikäpp, who performed as a musician at many Estonian song festivals and folk evenings. The original of the sculpture is in the collections of the Estonian Art Museum in Tallinn.

[EST] 2013. a suvel avati Viljandis mälestustähis (skulptor Bruno Kadak), mis märgib Viljandimaa esimese laulupeo toimumiskohta ning põllumeeste seltsi ja Koidu seltsi asutamispaika.
Tegemist on Viljandimaalt pärit skulptori Lydia Laasi 1957. aastal valminud pronksskulptuuri «Leelotaja» koopiaga. Taiese modelliks peetakse omal ajal paljudel Eesti laulupidudel ja rahvakunstiõhtutel leelotajana üles astunud näitlejanna Laine Mesikäppa. Skulptuuri originaal asub Tallinnas Eesti kunstimuuseumi kogudes.
