Neponset River Esplanade Extension Traditional Cache

The cache is hidden near a view of the Neponset River on Truman Parkway.  It is a great place to view the diverse natural habitat of the many plants and animals found in the Neponset River Watershed including White-tailed Deer, Great Blue Heron, ducks,geese, hawks, and Painted Turtles.  The cache is a magnetic nano and contains a logbook only.

This is the fourth  in a series of caches to highlight the three and a half mile Hyde Park – Milton stretch of the Neponset River Greenway Extension multi-use trail. You can start the trail near the Fowl Meadow Reservation/Paul's Bridge. Parking is available at Fowl Meadow or the Truman Parkway Plaza.. Construction for the completion of the Neponset River Esplanade Extension was approved in June of 2013 by then Gov. The cache is a magnetic nano containing log book only. Bring your own pen.  Tweezers might be needed to obtain log. It is accessible from the path and from the bike lane on Truman Parkway. Please be safe and use stealth while accessing cache.
