Geocache Description:

“According to the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety, modern roundabouts — which have proliferated in this country in recent years — are not only far safer than regular intersections, they are also more fuel efficient. Drivers use about 30 percent less gas when using a roundabout compared with a traffic signal, according to the Institute, because they don’t necessarily have to stop and idle.” - NY Times

This roundabout newly constructed in 2015 is located in South Berlin, Massachusetts very close to another South Berlin Roundabout I. Just a few short years ago this area was undeveloped  farm land owned by the Risi family.  Much of the land remains grassy fields which were once used as a grazing area for as many as 80 dairy cows. The farm land was purchased in 2010 for mixed-use development, and some construction has already started.  As part of the land-purchase contract, the Risi family and town residents requested that some of the land remain reserved as protected conservation land.  Thus, of the 114 acres, 88 acres will remain undeveloped land, preserving the landscape many locals have grown to love around this roundabout.

The cache is located at: N42 21.    , W071 37.

puzzle

Nine geocachers - numbered 1 through 9 - are to be seated facing the Round Table in such a way that every geocacher's number is at least 3 higher or lower than the geocacher's number immediately adjacent on the right and left. Additionally, the sum of the two geocachers facing each other at the ends of the line painted across the table sums to an even number. With Geocachers 2, 6, and 8 seated as shown, seat the rest of the geocachers.
