Kohtla-Järvel Järve linnaosas asuvas pargis saad jalutada tiigi kaldal ning suvel nautida purskkaevu vaatemängu ning veemõnusid. Lastele on mänguväljakud ja spordiväljakud, kus saab mängida võrkpalli või korvpalli, teha jõutreeningut. Linnaparki jõuad mööda kesklinnast algavat promenaadi ja purskkaevude alleed, liikudes nõukogude neoklassitsismi iseloomustava Kultuurikeskuse poole. Autoga tulijatel on võimalik parkida Kultuurikeskuse parklasse ja edasi suunduda jalgsi. Promenaadi ja linnaparki renoveeriti peaaegu kümme aastat. Et Euroopa fondidest raha saada, nimetati linnapark ümber rahvapargiks ning raha tuli.
In Kohtla-Järve Järve borough park one can walk on the waterside of the pond and in summer enjoy the spectacle of the fountain. For the children there are playgrounds and sports areas for volleyball, basketball and gymnastics. A promenade path with various fountains takes you to the park from the city centre, alongside with soviet era neoclassicist Cultural Centre. Best place to park your car is in the parking lot of Cultural Centre and the rest of the way is suitable for a nice stroll. The restoration of the promenade and city park took almost ten years. To get the money from the European funds the city park was renamed as peoples park and the money came pouring in.
