Lego Mini Figure Exchange:
By two boys are huge fans of Lego Mini figures and both enjoy hikes here at Canoe Meadows. So when we got a chance to hide a cache here it was best of both worlds.
Please take a mini fig and exchange a mini fig, other swag is welcome also. We are excited to see what mini figs show up here!
Take a short walk along the Scared Way trail to our cache. Enjoy the views of the Housatonic River and Sackett Brook. In the Winter and Fall you can look out over the beaver dam and maybe even see a few deer.
Please be respectful of the land and follow there guidelines.
Sanctuary Guidelines for Canoe Meadows
For your safety and to avoid conflicts with wildlife, we ask that you please:
- · Leave everything as you find it, and do not pick or collect items
- · Remain on the trails at all times to protect plants, animals, and yourself
- · Leave pets at home
- · Refrain from running, bike riding, or driving motorized vehicles
- · Refrain from fishing, hunting, or trapping
- · Enjoy snacks or picnics in designated areas, and carry out all trash
- · Do not smoke
Trail Safety
Please stay on the trails for your safety, and the safety of wildlife. Poison ivy and ticks are common in Massachusetts, so be sure to wear proper footwear, learn how to identify each, and be on the lookout. Also bring plenty of water, especially during the summer.
