Jewish Veteran Memorial Mystery Cache

This geocache was placed at the little known Jewish War Veteran of the USA Memorial Park in Milton, after the completion of my Boy Scout Eagle Project. Members of Troop 5 Milton, family, and friends improved the memorial site through edging, mulching, planting bushes, as well as replacing the flag and repainting the flagpole. A stone semicircle with an engraved Star of David was created to accentuate the memorial. It is my hope that this geocache will bring awareness to the memorial.

The cache is not placed at the posted coordinates.  Instead the coordinates bring you to the memorial and the site of the Eagle Project.   The memorial is dedicated to “Those men and women of the Jewish faith who served in the armed forces of our beloved country.”   It is in memoriam to Rabbi Chaplain Jacob Hochman, who served in World War II, and was the first Rabbi of the Jewish community in Milton.

At the memorial, you will need to solve a puzzle to find the coordinates of the hidden geocache.  The solved puzzle brings you to the location of the first temple in Milton, where the physical geocache is hidden (about a half mile away).
