Located near a watchtower near the village of A Torra by Baie de Figari (outside the port Pianottoli Candarello), not far from Bonifacio on the island of Corsica.
We thought that too many people were finding Stavro Mueller Beta (our other cache), so this time we went a little further afield. We set off punting down the Cam for a picnic at Granchester. However, since we had both GPS receivers on we ended up slightly off course here in Corsica. If you happen to be stopping by in a nice little bay just short of Pianottoli Candarello (about 20 miles south of Ajaccio), why not take the time to visit the tower on the coast - a footpath leads up from the beach, which crosses the road. Should you dare the newer of the two staircases the view is quite spectacular. Keep on walking past the tower and you will come near the cache.
We were staying on a yacht when visiting this bay, so getting to the footpath was no trouble (some scrambling over rocks may be required). If you are staying nearby on the land, some consultation of local maps is in order.
