Emajõe kaldal asub üks omapärane putka. Üks toru läheb osapidi jõkke, kaks tulevad teisele poole. Pumbajaama kasutasid tänavakastmisautod, mis täitsid seal oma paake enne kruusateede kastmist.

Next to the river is a small pumping station that was used to pump water from the river to cars that watered gravel streets in Tartu.
