Geocache Description:

Tartu Peetri kirik on luteri kirik Tartus Emajõe ürgoru nõlval aadressil Narva maantee 104.

Kirikut kasutab EELK Tartu Peetri kogudus.

Kiriku interjöör on samuti valdavalt uusgooti stiilis. Sisustuses on tähelepanuväärsed altarisein (1900, Gustav Beermann), altarimaal "Kutsuv Kristus" (1897, Johann Köler) ja kahekümne kahe registriga orel (1891, Wilhelm Müllverstedt).

-------------------------------------------------

The Peter's Church in Tartu is the Lutheran Church in Tartu on the slope of the Emajõgi River Valley at Narva Road 104.

The church is used by the EELC Tartu Peetriish congregation.

The NewGoth-style church was completed in 1882-1884 by architect Victor Schröter. The ceremony took place in September 1884. The church was finished in 1903 when the church was built on the west wind and spitters (architect Georg Hellat).

The interior of the church is also predominantly neo-gothic. The living room has a remarkable altar wall (1900, Gustav Beermann), the altar painting "Inviting Christ" (1897, Johann Köler) and the organ of twenty-two registers (1891, Wilhelm Müllverstedt).
