Geocache Description:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ENGLISH] Hundreds of years ago, a young Baltic-German nobleman´s daughter Helena Bevarrie lived with her father and stepmother in Harku Manor, located in the province of Estonia. She spent her idyllic childhood in a beautiful countryside with her favourite maid - an Estonian girl Liidia. Helena`s father was a very intelligent man, so the girl was also well educated. However, when becoming a grown-up, the beauty was forced to accept a marriage proposal of a well-off man who was a friend of the family in order to save her family from financial collapse. It seemed that all the other parties, besides the adventurous Helena, were extremely interested in this marriage, they were even ready to keep the young lady locked up in order to achieve their will. But Helena had other plans and she did what all courageous young people would do in her situation – she escaped and became a leader of the gang of ruthless Estonian pirates. After a while she was the most feared female pirate in the history of Estonia. Her gang settled itself on Prangli Island and made so much trouble that the District Council of Tallinn city decided to send a punishment squad to the island. Helena hid herself in a thick spruce forest, where it was impossible to capture her. The squad started a forest fire and burnt down the whole island. From this day forward only pine trees grow on the island of Prangli, there are no spruces. But the treasure collected by Helena and her pirate-mates has never been found. Until recently they believed the treasure is hidden somewhere in the sand dunes of Ülesaare. The treasure hunters have searched the treasure chests for hundreds of years, but without any luck. Recently however, new hints about a possible location of the hidden treasure begun to spread in social media. It is believed that Helena was not so foolish to hide the treasure on the same island with all the greedy pirates. At the sunset of one warm August night she took the treasure off Prangli, not telling anything to her fellow comrades. And now there is a new tale going around about another small islet 12 miles south-east of Prangli. Allegedly an old local fisherman, who was enjoying a sunset on that August night, saw a small boat paddling by the coast of Pedassaare island with a tiny slender woman inside. Are you lucky enough to find this treasure? The treasure is hidden in a plastic container with some old withdrawn coins originally placed into the container. As the pirates are very mean and greedy, you can only take one coin as a souvenir, but make sure you leave two coins in return - let’ s together grow this treasure even bigger than it originally was.
