Karuskose asub Soomaa rahvuspargi südames Raudna jõe ääres Sandra külas Viljandimaal. Jõe mõlemal kaldal laiuvad maalilised luhad, mis on olulise looduskaitselise väärtusega. Soomaa viies aastaaeg muudab Raudna jõe ääres asuva ajaloolise Karuskose saareks keset vetevälja, kus õues liikumiseks tuleb kasutada kanuud. Suurvee ajal on Karuskosel elevust palju ja võimas nähtus mõjub kui looduse iidne festival.
Seltskond süstamatkalisi koosseisus Mairo, Priit, Kalle, Hendrik, Annika, Allan, Margus, Tiit ja Kerli, ööbis 20.10.19 Karuskose metsaonnis ning geomängu tutvustamise eesmärgil peitsime ka uue aarde. Onni vahetus läheduses algab ka Soomaa rahvuspargi Ingatsi rabarada. Kuigi aare asub raja alguses, soovitan ikkagi jalutada raja lõpuni, kus paiknevast vaatetornist avaneb lummav vaade rabale, millele saab mööda laudteed ka ringi peale teha.
Aare on väike 400ml säilituskarp, mis on peidetud maast kõrgemale ja vaatamata Soomaa heitlikule veetasemele peaks olema leitav iga ilmaga. Aardeni pääsemiseks tuleb matkarajalt mõned meetrid maha astuda, abiks tulevad kummikud. Koordinaat ei pruugi olla väga täpne, abiks on geovaist ja -pilk.

Karuskose is located in the heart of Soomaa National Park by the Raudna River in Sandra village in Viljandi County. There are picturesque meadows on both banks of the river, which are of great conservation value. The fifth season of Soomaa transforms the historic Karuskose along the Raudna River into an island in the middle of water park where canoes are used for outdoor activities. During the high water, Karuskose has a lot of excitement and a powerful phenomenon acts like an ancient festival of nature.
A group of kayakers, including Mairo, Priit, Kalle, Hendrik, Annika, Allan, Margus, Tiit and Kerli, slept in the Karuskose forest lodge on October 20, 2019 and for the purpose of introducing geo-games we hid a new treasure. The Ingat Ridge Track of Soomaa National Park also starts in the immediate vicinity of the hut. Although the treasure is at the beginning of the trail, I still recommend that you walk to the end of the trail, where the gazebo overlooks the bog from which you can also take a boardwalk.
The treasure is a small 400ml storage box that is hidden above the ground and should be found in any weather despite the volatile water levels in Soomaa. To get to the treasure, you have to walk a few meters off the hiking trail, rubber boots are recommended. The coordinate may not be very accurate, geosight and -instincts help, so eyes open! :)
