I just wanted to say... Im sorry. Blame Edexter for this one - after starting some of his Plymouth bushwhacking adventures I was inspired to create a more terrain challenging cache. Not only that, but with the wave of caches that are to be published at the end of this COVID pandemic, only the truly brave and prepared will seek this cache. The swamp is abundant with inconvenience - snakes, ticks, thorns, gargantuan frogs, flies, skunk cabbage, and mud that sucks you down almost half a foot. Tread carefully or you will have a lot of trouble with patches of incredible suction.
Cache is a film canister bounded to paracord attached to the tree on the swamp's oasis. Im sure a fox lives somewhere in this swamp because I have found his/her scat several times.
PLEASE wear bright orange during hunting season - it is as a precaution for your safety as you never quite know where people will hunt.
Finally, despite the dismal dismality of this hide, try to have some fun.
