Geocache Description:

[EST]  Aastatel 1941-1944 rajasid Saksa okupatsioonivõimud Eestisse 20 töö- ja koonduslaagrit, kus tapeti tuhandeid mitmest riigist toodud inimesi põhjusel, et nad olid juudid. Siin kohas asus Aseri töölaager.

Tänasel päeval meenutab töölaagri asukohta kaks mälestuskivi, mis mingil ajahetkel siia paigaldati.

Tulevikus loodame siia kirjutada mõne meenutuse töölaagri kohta. Meie oma naabrinaine töötas selles töölaagris. Kuna praegu istume koroonaviiruse tõttu karantiinis, siis hetkel kõrges vanuses naabrinaist külastama ei lähe.

Aare ise on peidetud mälestusmärkide vahetus lähedusse.

[ENG]

In the years 1941-1944, the German occupation authorities established 20 labor and concentration camps in Estonia, where thousands of people brought from several countries were killed because they were Jews. This is where the Aseri labor camp was located.

Today, the location of the labor camp is reminiscent of two memorial stones that were erected here at some point.

In the future, we hope to write some memories of the work camp here. Our neighbor worked in this camp. As we are currently in quarantine due to the coronavirus, we are not going to visit our elderly neighbor at the moment.

The cache itself is hidden near the monuments.
