The Conservation Commission has been an excellent landlord and we have tried to maintain the property and keep it open to the public. A lot of residents come to the pond to fish, bird watch or just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of sitting by water. It is home to many species of wildlife." As I place this cache in the fall of 2020, the water in this small pond is extremely low following a summer of drought. Nonetheless, a great blue heron was seen doing some fishing in the fading evening light. The cache is off of a path to the right, and is a short bushwhack to a bison tube.
