Geocache Description:

[EST] Eesti Maanteemuuseum avati külastajatele aastal 2005. Muuseumi eesmärgiks on Eesti teepärandi, tee-ehituse ja liiklemise ajaloo kogumine, säilitamine, uurimine ja tutvustamine. Pea kümnel hektaril asuva muuseumi kogudesse kuulub üle 43 000 museaali, sh ka Ida-Euroopa suurim teehöövlite kollektsioon. Rohkem lisainfot www.maanteemuuseum.ee

Aare on peidetud Eesti Maanteemuuseumi sellele territooriumile, kuhu on kõigil vaba sissepääs. Olin ka ise 2020 aasta suvehooajal muuseumis suvesangar (suveabiline). Selle puhul otsustasin ka aarde sinna ära peita. Aare on peidetud koostöös Eesti Maanteemuuseumiga.

Tegemist on mõistatusaardega. Aarde koordinaadid saate alg-punktist. Sealt on aga paar numbrit puudu, need leiate veidi infot juurde otsides. Esimesed kaks numbrit leiate muuseumi peamaja seinalt. Seal on kirjas aasta, millal valmis arhit ektuurimälestis Varbuse Postijaam. Võtke aastaarvu kaks viimast numbrit ning pange need esimese koordinaadi viimasteks numbriteks. Kolm teise koordinaadi puuduolevat numbrit leiate raudbetoonist teetruubi infotahvlilt.

[ENG] The Estonian Road Museum was opened to visitors in 2005. The aim of the museum is to collect, preserve, research, and introduce the history of Estonian road construction and traffic. The collections of the museum, located on almost ten hectares, include more than 43,000 museum objects, including the largest collection of graders in Eastern Europe. More information at www.maanteemuuseum.ee

The cache is hidden in the territory of the Estonian Road Museum, to which everyone has free access. I was also a summer hero (summer assistant) in the museum during the summer season of 2020. In this case, I also decided to hide the cache there. The cache is hidden in cooperation with the Estonian Road Museum.

You can get the coordinates of the cache from the starting point. However, there are a few numbers missing, you can find them by searching for a little more information. The first two numbers can be found on the wall of the main building of the museum. It shows the year when the architectural monument Varbuse Post Station was completed. Take the last two digits of the year and make them the last digits of the first coordinate. You can find the three missing numbers in the second coordinate on the reinforced concrete culvert's information board. To find it, you have to walk a little along the road towards Tartu. When you reach a slope, the blue information sign should also appear. The diameter of the new reinforced concrete road pipe must be found on the sign. These three numbers are the numbers missing from the second coordinate.

If the cache is found, and the museum is open, be sure to visit! Have fun with logging!
