There is an official trailhead. Please enter from Bufton Farm Road in Clinton, Ma. Follow the red trail until you come to a tree with the letter L. Just past that marker you will come to a very large rock.
It's a really nice easy trail for walking your dogs. It has very few rocks and roots on the trail. You will come around a corner and starts up a slight hill to the glacial erratic.
The cache is well hidden under this large erratic in a small cave, covered with bark we found on the ground from a nearby tree. It's a beautiful area to go for a hike and enjoy the woods.
In my cache I have placed a Halloween trackable, $2.00 bill, some glow sticks, a word find book with pencil sharpener and eraser, a deck of playing cards, my log, a 2 year planner, I made a "wander lust" beaded chain , a lanyard, a dog bone for a lucky pup that may be out geocaching with the owners and last but not least a FTF Dunkins gift card for $ 10.00 .Enjoy your days. Happy trails my fellow catchers!
