Welcome to this pretty little spot along Traphole Brook in William Pezwick Park, a small, wooded 3-acre space managed by the Norwood Conservation Commission, who approved this cache. I'm not a fisherman myself, but Google tells me that fishermen will find a variety of fish including brook trout, rainbow trout and brown trout here. When the water is high, you'll find one or two rushing waterfalls to enjoy. One of the joys of geocaching is finding these little-known natural areas! Check out my other nearby cache while you're here.
Don't blink or you may miss the sign for William Pezwick Park on Summer St., with a couple of parking spots.
First to find will find a FTF coin inside the cache, which is a smaller size plastic lock-n-lock container. Have fun, and rock on!
NOTE 3/23: Well, I wouldn't call this a "pretty little park" if I made the cache today. Last summer, the Neponset Valley Water people dug up most of the "pretty" tree-covered part, and did some digging to remove an old dam. I suppose it's better for the brook, but boy I sure do hope the trees and greenery come back and return this park to it's former scenic state.
