EST: Siin asus Eesti üks suuremaid kalatehaseid, mis töötas kuni Nõukogude Liidu lagunemiseni. Värati sadama ja kalatehase kompleksi kuulusid kümned hooned ning tööd pakuti ligi sajale inimesele. Pärast kalatehase töö lõppemist jäeti kogu sadamapiirkond maha ligi 30 aastaks. 2020 aastal anti uus võimalus, et luua Värati lahe äärde uus sadam ja ka kogukond.
