Oled sattunud Lindi kooli põneva ajaloo südamesse ...
1919. a lõpetati Anni talu rendileping ning seal tegutsenud õigeusu kool viidi sama aasta 1. oktoobril koos Kõima abikooliga üle Lindi mõisa.
1922. a ühendati Lindi Kooliga ka Kabriste Vallakool ning nimetati ümber Audru-Lindi algkooliks. Just seda aega võibki lugeda praeguse Lindi kooli tekkeks.
1924/25 õa-l oli koolis kokku 3 klassikomplekti, 4 klassi ja 76 õpilast. Tegu oli 1911. a ehitatud ühekordse puumajaga. 1925. a ehitati majale juurde teine korrus, et ka õpetajatel oleks elamisvõimalus.
1926. a 22. veebruaril põles vana koolimaja maani maha.
You are in the heart of the exciting history of Lindi School …
In 1919, the lease agreement for Anni Farm was terminated, and the Orthodox school operating there was transferred to Lindi Manor together with Kõima Auxiliary School on October 1 of the same year.
In 1922, Kabriste Parish School was merged with Lindi School and renamed Audru-Lind Primary School. It is this time that can be considered the birth of the current Lindi school.
In 1924/25, the school had a total of 3 class sets, 4 classes and 76 students. It was a one-time wooden house built in 1911. In 1925, a second floor was added to the building so that teachers could also live there.
On February 22, 1926, the old schoolhouse burned 100%. However, the studies continued the very next day - 1st and 2nd grade on Pommeri farm and 3rd and 4th grade in Kabriste rural municipality school.
Construction work on the new school building began on May 1, 1927. On September 25 of the same year, a new school building was consecrated and, on October 8, at the request of the parents, it was transformed into 6-grade Audru-Lindi primary school.
The 2007/08 school year started at Lindi Kindergarten-Primary School in a new building, 2.5 km from the old house in the village of Audruranna (now Lindi), directly on the shore of Pärnu Bay.
