Geocache Description:

Do not take items in the container. The log is in one of them . The State Forest staff are continually refreshing the boundary lines of different parcels of F. G. Hills (Foxboro State Forest)  lands. The cache is very close to a boundry intersection refreshed in February of 2022. It is important to refresh these lines and intersections in order to find a particular point. It may mark the location of a historic spot or natural element. The intersections could be marked with a blaze on a tree, a pile of rocks, an iron pipe or granite post. Maintaining these boundarlies is an important part of land stewardship.   This parcel was added to the forest in 1926.

Johnney Cash wrote " I Walk the Line" in 1956 to to lay out his devotion to his wife June.

We hope people are equally devoted to taking care of the woods of Foxboro State Forest.

You will be looking for a continer which may hold Podokesaurus holyokensis or another of its kind.

Hunting is allowed in this area. Please consult the hunting regluations for Massachusetts ~~ Wear Blaze Orange during hunting season congrats to Geoducks2 FTF
