My friend Gil, myself, and several others meet for breakfast once a week at a nearby restaurant located on Russell Street (US RT-9). With Russell Street (US RT-9) being a main thoroughfare, making a left turn out of the restaurant parking lot (or any of the businesses on Russell Road for that matter) can be challenging at times. To make it easier for Gil to get out of the parking lot to get back home I suggested he try something different that would involve making three right hand turns.
My recommendation was that when exiting the parking lot from the resturant he turn right instead of left (1st right). This way he would only have to contend with one lane of traffic instead of two. Then about 1/2 mile down the road he should turn right onto Spruce Hill Road (2nd right). After a short bit there's a curve in the road where Spruce Hill Road turns into Farm Lane and he should keep going. Just that quick he'll be at the junction of Farm Lane and Rocky Hill Road. Here he'll turn right (3rd right) and he's on his way home. While this sounds like a round-about way, on a heavy traffic day on Russell Road (US RT-9) doing this really is the quicker way for him.
