Way back in its early days, the original "Bendo Hunt" multi-cache included an unpublished "bonus cache" which geocachers could find if they wanted to hunt another Bendo! This cache commemorates that original bonus cache by providing an officially published "bonus" opportunity for interested geocachers. The container is a waterproof container suitable for larger kid-friendly trade items, travel bugs, or goodies that need to remain dry.

In order to find this "bonus cache" you'll need to first find Bendo #1, Bendo #2, and Bendo Hunt (GCH6W9). Attached to the Bendo Hunt cache container is a brass tag stamped with the last three digits of the north and west coordinates for this bonus cache. (Note: If you found Bendo Hunt before 19 March 2022, you'll need to go find the Bendo Hunt cache in its new location order to get the coordinates for this "bonus" cache -- there's not a shortcut for folks who found Bendo Hunt previously!)
Please replace the bendo who is guarding the cache as you found him. He is not a trade item!
The bonus cache is a walk of about a quarter mile from the Bendo Hunt final on established trails. The difficulty and terrain of this "bonus cache" are cumulative for the effort needed to find the Bendo Hunt cache and continue to this cache. This cache should be accessible in the winter with up to two feet of snow on the ground. With more than two feet of snow it may be tricky to find, depending upon which way the wind has blown the snow!
