This is the final event after the Half-Canadian events (GC9WJFE, GC9R6AY, & GC9R6AK) this weekend. In honor of remembering Laurie.
The Laurie Event(s) are designed to honor legendary cacher Laurie Freeman AKA Half-Canadian and Scooter the Wonder Dog, AKA funbeach, AKA the creator of Cache, Dash, Splash events and AKA Wizard of Ooze (as a reviewer). Laurie passed away on January 18, 2021.
She always had a CITO after her much loved events.
All participants will receive a Geocaching Souvenir for participating in this event.
***NOTE: GZ for this is under the South end of Alex Fraser Bridge, off River Road. Please do not arrive 30m above on the bridge

We will be collecting garbage under the Alex Fraser Bridge.
***PLEASE - exercise caution while removing garbage, as there can be hazardous/biohazardous waste also present.
Do not handle such materials.
Some tools will be supplied, however please bring your own gloves and tongs/grabbers if you own them.
We'll have garbage bags for distribution.
The event will run rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather and activity.
