Geocache Description:


Enjoy this new preserve in Southwick. This cache is placed with the intent of bringing you to the vernal pool. Take the blue trail off the main (Green) trail to the pool. I suggest you retrace your steps back to the green trail after finding this cache, as the blue trail does not seem to loop around the vernal pool as shown on the map at the trail head. Thanks to the scout(s) who made the map. Hidden in a place I normally would not use due to longevity but didn't want it to be visible to the dirt bikers. Permission given by the Southwick Conservation Commission on 12/21/22. Parking for several cars at the trail head on S. Longyard Rd. - see coords below. BYOP
