I live close enough to Bear Brook so I can literally walk to the trails from my front door. I take my dog out on the lower trails so much I know them like the back of my hand. Time to learn the upper trails!
After dedicating a cache to each of my co-workers, I've decided to follow a greyhound theme. I spent many years working in the industry, both racing and adoption, and it was the best time of my life!
This one's for Queenie!
I don't know who named this dog or why, but her racing name was Salty Queen. Pretty white dog with red fawn markings on both ears and a big round one on her side.
I guess she was a bit salty....when it came to puddles. She would literally push you into one so she could avoid it. The worst part is, she would go out in the turnout pen and lay down in the pool!!
This one is more of a bushwhack than I usually do, but my curiousity got the best of me. Never saw the deer, but there was fresh poop when I was here!
Happy hunting!
P.S. There may be a fee for parking. $
