Wilson Castle in Proctor is unique in Vermont.  It is Vermont's only real castle    This architectural masterpiece was built in the 19th Century in the heart of the Green Mountains. The Castle stands as a monument to the heritage of the past.
In addition to its interesting architecture, Wilson Castle is said to be haunted. Â
Wilson Castle is open to the public for tours, currently Thursday through Monday, from 10 am to  3 pm  Their hours are seasonal. There is a fee.   Get more info from their websiteÂ
As long as the gates are open, the grounds are available without fee. Â You may take as many pictures of the exterior of the castle as you like. Â There is a parking area that is a short walk to the castle. Â The coordinates are to the parking area.Â
This virtual is not available in the winter, or when the gates are closed. Â NO NIGHT CACHING.Â
