No lobsters here, just a cache.
The cache is located in a part of Duxbury Bay known as Two Rock. Legend has it, this area got its name because there were two large rocks that prevented ships that were build at Bumpus Park from being able to access the channel. So, the rocks were blown up with dynamite at low tide and this created the deep water channel. And you know what creatures like deeper, colder waters? Lobsters.
All you need is some sort of boat and a pen. This underwater cache is marked with a neon orange & red buoy with the Geocaching logo. The cache container is a waterproof container (intended for scuba diving) with a waterproof logbook. Please be respectful of other lobster pots and oyster buoys when approaching (The cache is intentionally placed away from them to prevent any accidental damage. Be aware of your prop, please.) Find the buoy and haul it on board, just like a lobster pot. When replacing the cache, use your navigational tools to place it as close as you can to the GZ, knowing that your vessel likely drifted.
Two Rock is accessible from the channel even at low tide, but always be an informed boater and check the tides before heading out! Boats can be launched from the Duxbury town ramp or kayaks from Shipyard Beach.
This cache is placed on occupied territory of the Patuxet, Pokanoket, Massachusetts, and Wampanoag People.
