The West End Overlook is a 17-acre property located in Madaket and provides easy public access to Madaket Harbor for kayaking and other water-related activities. There is a parking area near the beach which connects to a small trail system that has rolling terrain with benches installed at scenic overlook points. This property offers panoramic views of the west end and as such, is a spectacular place to experience a quintessential Nantucket sunset.
This cache is only a few feet off the trail, so no need for bushwhacking. On your way, make sure you sit on some of the few benches along the trail and take this breathtaking view in and embrace the calm.
