Welcome to my first cache! Placed with permission from Town of Barnstable. Please use the designated parking spot for this trail it fits 4-6 cars. This fun(gi) geocache is located in the Santuit River Conservation Area, a 0.9 mile trail that starts near the opening of the river, into Shoestring Bay, then brings you upstream through oak and pine forests finishing with a bench to enjoy the marsh. If you choose to go all the way to the end of the trail it brings you to Santuit Rd a small cut through road that you can follow right, to get back to your car or simply walk back on the trail to enjoy the views again. If you’re itching for more caches I implore you to come explore the little village of Cotuit. Although we’re small we have many mighty premium and public caches waiting to be found!
