Geocache Description:

My family love walking this stretch of the Robert Frost trail, which is a quick walk between Harkness rd and Echo Hill.  When my kids were younger, we called it "The Adventure Walk" because it involved going:
1. Down a hill
2. Over a bridge
3. Up a hill
4. and past a chasm

.. sort of like a Berenstein Bears book.  Anyway, it seemed like a fitting place to hide our first cache.  We hope you enjoy it!

The trail entrance that I usually start at is between 264 and 284 Harkness rd. The trail itself is clearly labelled.
I have parked on the side of the road near the trail head there before.

If you go in that way, the way we took the trail, we ended up going down a little hill, and then over some foot bridges that crossed streams. Depending on how you get there, you may or may or may not pass them. Anyway, the trail itself sort of runs along the edge of the transfer station. and then loops around up a steep hill, runs past the "chasm", and ends onto Stony Hill rd in Echo Hill. The "chasm" that I referred to was sort of between the last part of the trail and houses on the abutting "Stony Hill Rd Loop" and Flintlock Ln. Keep in mind, its not like a huge chasm really.. but its what we all called it when my kids were young. At the base of it is a stream, which is runoff from Echo Hills vernal ponds.
