Solomon Rich was driving his wagon one day and was thrown off it at this very spot. A stone was erected to mark the location. At some point the stone disappeared and suddenly one day a couple of years ago the current marker was placed here.
Since the stone is close to another cache near the waterfalls, I have placed this puzzle cache nearby. A simple field puzzle will help you locate the container.
Use this formula to determine the final location: N AB CD.EFG W 0HI JK.LMN
A=The number of the month he died.
B=Rhymes with the second word.
C=How many letters in what he was thrown from?
D=How many letters in the word before INSTANTLY?
E=How many times does the word WIFE appear?
F=His age minus 45.
G=Second number in his age.
H=Second digit in the day he died.
I=Number of words on the line after HUSBAND.
J=Number of letters in the first word minus two.
K=How many letters in the second word that starts with F?
L=Number of the letters in the word before KILLED.
M=Number of letters in the last word that starts with F.
N=Number of letters in the last word.
Parking is in the breakdown lane on the east-bound side of the road. You may be able to read the stone from the car but you'll have to get out to walk to the final nearby. The container is winter-friendly but the stone may not be visible, depending on depth.
