Geocache Description:

Whatley was orignally inhabited by the Norwottucks, Whatley was first settled in 1672 and incorparateed in 1771. Westbrook road after this bridge was dirt for many years and far less traveled before it was paved. Now this part of the road is paved an used as a shortcut to Williamsburgh and Conway and many other towns. Westbrook road is often stocked with fish and is a fun fishing spot in areas that arent posted. Enjoy a beautiful back road with a couple caches in the area.

When i was younger i used to fish all along this river. Caught many brookies and crawfish on this river.
