Vana-Pärnu linnaosas, Pärnu jõe läänekaldal, asub Vana-Pärnu Keskpark – üks selle piirkonna olulisemaid rohealasid.
Vana-Pärnu Keskpark ei ole väga vana, kuid piirkond ise on Pärnu üks vanemaid asumeid. Park on aastate jooksul saanud kohaliku kogukonna jaoks tähtsaks kooskäimise ja puhkuse paigaks.
Tänaseks on kogukond KOPi abiga valmis ehitanud rannatennise/rannavõrkpalli väljaku, seenioritele treeningvahendid paika pannud, discgolfi korvid paigaldanud, samuti rattahoidjad, lauatennislaud ja uue välijõusaali.
2022. aastal võitis Vana-Pärnu kogukond MTÜ kaasava eelarve ja võidusumma eest ehitati Keskparki lastele madalseikluspark koos slacklinega.
Parki kasutatakse aktiivselt erinevateks kogukonnaüritusteks, nagu jaanipäevad ja muud hooajalised sündmused. Selle hoidmise ja arendamisega tegelevad ka kohalikud elanikud ja linnaosade ühendused.

In the Vana-Pärnu district, on the west bank of the Pärnu River, is Vana-Pärnu Keskpark – one of the most important green spaces in the area.
Vana-Pärnu Keskpark is not very old, but the area itself is one of the oldest settlements in Pärnu. Over the years, the park has become an important gathering and recreation place for the local community.
For today, with the help of KOP, the community has completed the construction of a beach tennis/beach volleyball court, installed training equipment for seniors, installed discgolf baskets, as well as bike racks, a tabletennis table and a new outdoor gym.
In 2022, the Vana-Pärnu community won the inclusive budget of the NGO and with the winning amount there was built a low-level adventure park for children with a slackline.
The park is actively used for various community events, such as Midsummer's Eve and other seasonal events. Local residents and district associations are also involved in its maintenance and development.
