NOTE: You don't have to worry about poison ivy. Just go to the bench. Read on if you want to hear about how the poison ivy foiled my original plan.
Please replace the cache according to instructions in the hint.
This cache is a homemade micro, crafted to fit in a specific spot. See the hint for more, uh, hints.
I had big, clever plans for the cache, and tromped all around the general area, walking through shrubs over to nearby trees and finally finding the perfect spot for an idea I'd had years ago. After multiple trips, bringing various tools and versions of containers to see what would work best, I finally got it all together ... then I looked around, and realized there was poison ivy ... everywhere. I knew there was some along the trail, but there were also many other kinds of plants mixed in. But in the area I had original chosen for the cache (NOT where it actually is -- see above), there was a much higher ratio of poison ivy to other plants. So in the end ... I bailed on that plan, it'll have to get implemented elsewhere. So I repeat, go straight for the bench. Don't wander through the shrubs and small plants that are in the area. You won't have any trouble avoiding them, the trail is a wide gravel path.
Congratulations to pengui1 on the FTF!
