At the trailhead for a nice walk down along the Connecticut River and Mink Brook, although it starts steeply. This is a park and grab, and is accessible even if the trail gate is closed. This is a micro, bring a pen.
There is no official parking here but you can park along the side of some of these neighborhood streets. Check roadside signs, parking is sometimes disallowed on one side of the street.
