The large building next to you was built in 1920 and home to Cox Confectionery Company. Today, this factory has been converted into condos.
A 1922 map shows the Cox Confectionary Co. on the map. The rail lines are where the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway runs today. In this map you can also see a foot bridge, which is visible in the next photo below.
