As the name implies, this trail is best hiked in the winter. It is a snowmobile trail, so, in the winter the wet spots are frozen and the tall goldenrod and sweet fern is trampled down. In the spring, there are wet and muddy spots. In the summer and fall there are lots of tall weeds to push through.
This geocache is placed so that once you are through the gate you know which way to go.
The container is a bison tube...well camoued, but the secure attachment is a bit obvious.
